Clean + Green Baking: Low Carb, Gluten Free Blondies
these are one of the most decadent things i’ve baked thus far. they taste so indulgent, but are filled with the most healthy ingredients - from organic butter to coconut flour.
each bar (makes 16 total) nets at 52 calories, .55 net carb, .7 fiber, 2.28 protein and 4.45 fat. here’s how you can make them:
you will need:
2.5 oz cream cheese
three tablespoons organic, grass-fed butter
1/2 tablespoon vanilla
three egg whites
1/2 cup erythritol
one packet of stevia
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 cup pecans
1/4 cup coconut flour
1. preheat over to 350 and line a cake pan with parchment paper.
2. begin my whisking butter and cream cheese together. add all dry ingredients and blend.
3. add eggs, one at a time and continue to blend. add almond milk.
4. spread evenly in pan.
5. cook for 45 minutes. let cool then sit in fridge overnight. the fridge part is critical, so don’t cook if you want an immediate snack! enjoy!
Why do you put your self esteem in the hands of complete strangers?
